Pyles Ford Road Bridge (BR 1-110)

Project Limits:

225 total feet east and west of the bridge

Project Need

Project Overview:

Replace the deteriorated bridge with a precast concrete box culvert. Construction will be completed in one stage with a detour. Reconstruct approaches and place a scour countermeasure in the stream to protect the structure.

Project Timeline:

Design Phase:

Due to funding issues, the project has been delayed. Design estimated to be complete in January 2014.

Construction Phase:

Construction work estimated to occur in the summer of 2014.
